Hole-in-one bar reimbursement up to £300 Buggy and Trolley Insurance cover At Golfplan all policies provide essential protection for your buggy against theft, loss, vandalism or accidental damage during use, whilst stored at a golf venue or in your garage, and during carriage to and from the golfing venue. Cover also includes public liability protection, against killing or injuring a fellow golfer. Within all Golfplan policies golf buggies are treated as golf equipment which means your buggy is protected 24-hours a day, including 120 days overseas cover, giving you total peace of mind. All we ask you to do is ensure that your buggy is individually secured to a fixed object when stored at a golfing venue or in your garage. Also during carriage to and from a golfing venue your buggy must be secured to the trailer. New For Old Cover In the event of theft we will replace your buggy with a brand new one of similar make and model regardless of the age of your buggy at that time. In the event of vandalism or accidental damage we will pay the cost of repair, or if beyond repair, replace it with a brand new golf buggy of similar make and model. Cover excludes wear and tear, mechanical parts breaking down or failing. Indemnity (Second Hand) Cover In the event of theft we will replace your buggy with a second hand golf buggy. Data Tag Security System DATATAG ID Ltd has entered into a joint branding venture with MAC (ONE) SOLUTIONS LTD. The purpose of this venture is to provide a cost effective security system for golfing equipment. Using existing technology this kit is simple and easy to use and supported by a proven track record in the fight against theft. The Crown Prosecution Service has never lost a case involving property recovered which has been marked with DATATAG ID Ltd technology. The cost of the kit includes the clients’ first year membership to the MAC (ONE) SOLUTIONS LTD database which will hold the details of the owner of the golfing equipment. Once the client has registered with DATATAG ID Ltd and the registration is confirmed to MAC (ONE) SOLUTIONS LTD the client will be issued with a certificate for one year, an overt bag tag displaying a yearly disc and a laminated removable warning card which can be placed in the front or rear windscreen of vehicles parked on golf club car parks. Merseyside Police (North Sefton Neighbourhood/Formby) have been briefed on the security system and are very pleased to see that the issue in relation to golf equipment theft is being addressed.
